The first Sorbian video game

It’s not just life that is undergoing a digital transformation – in the Sorbian world, a folklore hero is now joining in the fun! In doing so, Krabat, also known as the Sorbian Faust, is yet again making history. The adventure game “Krabat and the Secret of the Sorbian King” is the first Sorbian game to be produced for mobile devices. It is available in Upper Sorbian, Lower Sorbian, German and English.

The game is available online as a free download for iPhone and iPad, from Google Play and in the Microsoft Store for Windows 10, either as an update or a new installation in an app with all of the languages mentioned above. It was developed by the RAPAKI project group, which gets its name from the Sorbian word for “raven” in a nod to the legend of Krabat.
