The Slawenburg Raddusch is an extremely authentic-looking replica of a Slavic hill fort that served to protect the nearby residents. Nowadays, the fort is home to one of the most interesting exhibitions about the Spree Forest.
Slawenburg Raddusch
Anyone driving along the A15 motorway to Cottbus can enjoy an excellent view of one of the most famous sights in the Spree Forest: the Slawenburg Raddusch. As an archaeological monument typical of Lusatia, the Slawenburg Raddusch is reminiscent of a culture that has now mostly disappeared. Inside the replica of the former fortification, a multimedia exhibition tells visitors about the history of Lower Lusatia.
